Jewelry Photo Editing
Need some photo magic to make your jewelry photos ready for juried shows or print publication? Send me three of your photos and I'll work some Photoshop magic to clean them up, color correct them, and get them ready to impress.
Images to be edited, should be 72dpi and jpg format. I will except images that have no more than 50% extra background. If this is the case, crop your image prior to sending the file or get closer to your subject when shooting. Clear, unblurred photos work best. Using a tripod is helpful. Whether you are using a camera or phone, photography lamps, ambient lighting, sunlight or camera flash, your images will always need some post camera work. Keep in mind that the larger the image is, the better the results will be, so set your cameras or phones to HDR and snap away. Jewelry pieces should have either a white, black or gray background, reflective or nonreflective. Preferably no props in the shot, unless they are being used to keep the piece in position and are to be edited out. Shadows and/or reflections on the undersurface are ok. Please note, if this image will be used for printing purposes or on the web. It makes a big difference in the way I create and save the file. You will receive one edited image for each image provided. Please include a detailed description regarding the appropriate colors of each piece and the background (if it is not obvious) in the email along with the jpg attachments. Also, whether you will need a horizontal, vertical or square format. If there are any special requests, please mention it in the email. There will be an additional charge for filagree and fringe. In some rare cases, chain as well, but it all depends on how much editing is needed. If you are not sure about your image size or quality, you can send it to me and I will check it for you to let you know if it is a contender. Your images will be reviewed prior to your payment to make sure that it falls within the boundaries of the advertised pricing. At this point, if there are any special issues that require additional fees, you will be notified. No work will be started prior to your payment.
Turn around time will be within 48 hours, but most likely sooner. Send your images along with any special instruction to jayne@blindblissjewels.com. Upon approval, you will then be prompted to make your payment and the process can begin. If you are a member of AMCAW, please mention it in the email, so your discount can be applied. Pricing is for three separate images.
